Continuano le mail con le quali cercano di truffare le vittime, rubando i dati personali e quindi noi continuiamo a segnalare questi tentativi di phishing.
Questa volta è la proposta di Mr. Akinwumi Godson Fanimokun, dirigente di una presunta società, chiede un aiuto per un cliente, invitandolo a scrivergli e dargli i dati personali.
Vi invitiamo, ancora una volta, ad ignorare questa mail e non rispondere, e ancor di meno, dare dati personali.
Approfittiamo di questa esempio di truffa telematica per tornare ad affrontare questo fenomeno, che non sembra calare e che è finalizzato ad ottenere dalla vittima dati personali per effettuare operazioni fraudolente, magari anche attraverso il conto corrente.
Come abbiamo già ripetuto più volte in questo blog, il phishing è una frode informativa mediante la quale un utente riceve un falso messaggio via posta elettronica, di provenienza dubbia (ma il alcune circostanze simile alle comunicazioni che si potrebbero ricevere da banca o posta) e che lo invita ad aderire ad una proposta commerciale, o collegarsi ad un link.
Specialmente in questo ultimo caso, nel momento in cui l'utente digita le informazioni sensibili (password, numero di carta di credito ecc.), il malfattore si impossessa di questi dati e può utilizzarli per molteplici fini illeciti.
Ecco perché non conviene mai rispondere a queste mail, né tantomeno lasciare i propri dati personali a proposte commerciali farlocche come quella che potete leggere di seguito.

Ahmed Mohd Elshami, an Egyptian citizen and a Federal Contractor with the Federal Governments of Nigeria and Egypt.
My client lost his life along with his wife, daughter and several others in a tragic air accident in Abuja - Nigeria. Since the death of this customer, I personally have watched with keen interest to see the next of kin but all has proved abortive as no one has come to claim his funds of US$25,500,000.00 (Twenty Five Million, Five Hundred Thousand US Dollars) which has been with our branch for a very long time.
On this note, I decided to seek for whom his name shall be used as the Next of Kin as no one has come up as his next of kin. For your assistant I am willing to give you 40% of the total amount, 10% to cover all expenses and 50% for me and my family. I will not fail to bring to your notice that this business is problem free process and shall be carried out under legitimate procedure without breaching any of the International Law, in other words, you should not entertain any fear as all modality for the smooth and easy transfer of this fund has been finalized.
